The size of the cage depends on the bird’s size and how many you keep in one cage.
Daily interaction is crucial, as parrots are social creatures. They can become bored or even depressed without enough attention. And without this attention and activity, they can develop behavior issues just like other pets. Letting them out of their cage for supervised playtime helps with exercise and bonding. While interacting with their person is plenty of stimulation, many birds like parakeets and cockatiels thrive with companion birds.
